A large Stone building in the form of a cross and in the Gothic Style of architicture It was built in the year 1817 and in the year 1826 there was taken into the new building an aisle belonging to the old church which supported the Spire and bears the date 1623 it is at present in good repair and seated to accommodate upwards of 800. it is Situated with the Church Yard or Graveyard at Largo _ which is enclosed with a well built stone wall said to have been erected at the expense of John Wood the founder of Woods Hospital here in the old church was a R Catholic place of worship and belonged to the Nunnery of North Berwick.
