026 A small hill on the farm of Kincraig on the summit and North W [West] side it is of arable surface and on the southern front it is bounded by the line of H. [High] Water over which it rises abruptly to a height of about 200 feet. presenting a nearly perpendicular rugged wall or precipice of Trap rock, in which are some natural caves etc . in shape it is an oblong oval & on its summit is a Trig [Trigonometrical] Station call'd by T. [Trigonometrical] Party"Kincraig"

026 A natural cave in a ridge of rock on the south side of Kincraighill its entrance is situated on the line of H.W. [High Water] and it projects inland underground for a distance of about 80 links its shape is irregular and formed on all sides of Trap Rock its average width & breadth is about 6 feet by 4 ft. [Feet] it is much resorted to by wild Doves etc
