An extensive tract of Wood, chiefly Larch & Fir trees, the western end of which is bounded by the County By. [Boundary] of Perth; it is bounded on the south & east by the Farm of Lochmill. It is a part of what was formerly Newburgh Moor. It is the property of the Burgh of Newburgh.

This name applies to a Craig or rather a small precipice at the south side of a tract of Rocky Pasture & Furze, a short distance South West of the "Black Cairn". It forms a very prominent feature, and is well known in the locality.

A small cottage a short distance East of Macduff's Cross; at present it is unoccupied; the property of Matthew Blyth, Newburgh. It is called from its situation in a Glen at the North side of a field called Bow Park.
