A small ridge of Hills on the farm of Wester Lumbenny, the surface which is almost covered with Rocks, furze and Broom, is very rugged and formed into several small Hills. I cannot obtain the meaning of the word Baw, it is always called so and not Bow. It is situated at the south of Lochmill.

This name applies to a row of small cottages one storey high, on the farm of Wester Lumbenny; occupied by Farm Laborers. They are situated North of the farm house, hence the name.
