005 | [Situation] About one mile N.E. by E [North East by East] of the village of Brunton. These are the remains of three Circles touching each other, and formed of rude StoneS; a great Many of the Stones however were removed to build the adjacent fences. The Circles are Very distinct are Situated in Drumnod Wood; and were pointed out to me by the Authorities given. They are Considered to be Druidical; the Circles are about 65 links each in Diameter. |
