Parish of Kettle Plan 17C Com.[Common] Edge Trace

East Forthar situation -- Nearly 1 1/4 Miles East by South of the Village of Fruchie.
Kettle Gasworks situation -- About 1 1/4 Miles E [East] by North of the Village of Fruchie.
Kettle Station situation -- In the West side of the Village of Kettle.

[Note - Kettle Station] From the circumstance of the village being sometimes called King's Kettle the railway station is also by some so called and also written so on Sign board at the Station. But as the name of the village is written Kettle on Plan (see 17B) so it is advisable to write the Station name in the same form.
