017 A Small Cottage at present occupied as a Post Office by Thomas Beveridge. In addition to the usual North & South Mails, there is a Mail Cart despatched with letters every Evening to Auchtermuchty Calling at Fruchie & Falkland, which returns in the Mornings.

017 A neat Church built in a Chaste, Ornamental Style, belonging to the United Presbyterians. It is Seated to Contain 680, & has a Gallery all round; the Communicants on the Roll, 500, average about 400; at present there is not a Minister appointed -- in consequence of Some Misunderstanding between the Congregation. The Church was Erected in 1852.
