017 [situation] About 1 1/8 Miles South of the Village of Pitlessie.
A small arable hill on the farm of Fronthill having a small plantation on it, north and west side. On the summit of this hill was an ancient Fort, the site of which is now shewn.

017 [situation] About 1 1/8 Miles South of the Village of Pitlessie.
This is the remains of an Ancient Hill Fort. It is now entirely defaced in consequence of the ground having been ploughed several times. The only appearance at present are slight undulations of the surface, but can still be accurately traced.
