This is the Mansion house of the Estate of Ramornie. It is pleasantly situated on the north bank of the River Eden, surrounded by woods and plantations. It has just been rebuilt, and the grounds are being decorated by shrubberies, flower gardens and other improvements. It is occupied by the proprietor F. L. Maitland Heriot Esqr. of Ramornie.
