[situation] Extends about 10 Chains North from Burnside at Lady Bridge.
This name applies to a street which extends from Lady Bridge Burnside, in a N.W. [North Westerly] direction. the Houses on each side vary from one to two stories in height, with small Vegetable gardens attached, and are in general occupied by Weavers.

A road which runs in a Northerly direction from the Lady Burn, at the East end of the United Presbyterian Church. There are only two houses on its Western side and a few houses on its east side at its Northern extremity a short distance North of Mill Street.
