019 The 10th Drawbridge, numbering from the Forth River, on the Forth & Clyde Canal. It opens upwards from the centre by clog wheels at the north and south sides. There is a house for the Bridge-Keeper on the north side, & there are several houses on the south side on both sides of the T.P. [Turn Pike] Road, which bears the name of the Bridge. There is a Toll Bar here on the Road which crosses the Bridge going to Kilsyth in the adjoining Parish, Stirlingshire. This Bridge can't
