It is in he property of William Hunter ArundellIt is said that Bruce Signed some Charter under this tree. Sometimes called the Royal, the Stag and the deaf , the latter because if a person near called, he couldnot be heard at the other side of the tree. I consists of 800 ft [feet] of useful wood and is about 65 ft [feet] high in its stem. |
