A large School house built by public Subscription, consists of two departments one exclusively for girls and is limited to 40 pupils who are taught Needle-work &c by a Schoolmistress whose Salary amounts to £25. - The other department consists of boys and girls who are educated in the Common Course of juvenile education by a Schoolmaster whose Salary amounts to £60 p Annum. - This School is endowed and supported by a Society of Ladies called the Ladies' benevolent Society. - No fees are exacted from the pupils - The Schoolmistress is Miss Mary [Sharman.] The Schoolmaster Mr. Carruthers. -
