It is stated in the new Statistical Account that a Tower once stood upon this farm; Enquiry has been made but its Site could not be pointed out. Attempts has been made by some gentlemen in this neighbourhood to establish its Site, but they have had no - nothing of a documentary nature sufficiently authentic to produce satisfactory results. The Site therefore must be considered as lost. |
