140.05 A large stone bridge of one arch spanning the Black Devon adjacent to and north of the town of Clackmannan. Built and Kept in repair by the County. On a turnpike road. Built on the site of an old bridge, over which, tradition say, Mary Queen of Scots passed on one occasion, from which Circumstance the name is derived.
