Sheet 19 Caithness.

The name
"Bylbster" occurs frequently
in the Parish of Watten -
Caithness. the adjoining
Parish of Wick gives it
as "Bilbster". as these are
evidently the same name -
will you please say which
form is to be adopted.

This question was answered about
12 months ago. J. Henderson Esq
of Bylbster House Nr [Near] Wick
requested that "y" should be
used instead of "i" so as
to prevent mistakes
I can find no more information
on the subject.
