005 Applies to a small ledge of rock on which one of the guide posts are fixed. The Ships when leaving the quay for their destination in the south require to be hauled out of the River by affixing ropes to the guide posts, and as the one on this rock is generally used for this purpose, it is called the ''Hossack'', which is a corruption of ''Hawser'', a rope.
