Some time ago the Course of Knoxes Burn was artificially turned into Loch Doon in place of going by Cairsphairn its natural Course, previous to this a Small Stream flowed in the Same Channel which the larger occupies now, and was called Moak Burn - the Stream retains the name 'Knoxe's Burn' no further South than its old natural Course and Moak Burn goes no further east that the artificial cut - |
