128 About 100 yards N. [North] of "Tobar Choluim-chille", in "Eileach an Naoimh" and contiguous to one another, are situated the ruins of two ancient cells, of the style of construction known as the "Bechins", They are circular in form having a diameter of about 10 feet exclusive of the thickness of the wall which is about 3 feet at the base, That furthest to the west - which is realy intact - is about 12 feet in height. On the inside the stones, of which it is wholly composed, seen to have been placed with great care & so regular as to present a smooth surface, which less care seem to have been bestowed on the exterior, which at a short distance resemble a pile of loose stones thrown together indiscriminately. The other ruin is crumbled down & only stands about 2 feet above the surface.
