Various | The Parish of Ardnamurchan is in the Presbytery of Mull and Synod of Argyll. Patron the Duke of Argyll. It is bounded on the west by the Atlantic ocean: on the north-west by Loch Moidart, an arm of the sea: on the north by the Parish of Ardnamurchan in Inverness Shire: on the east by the Parish of Kilmallie which is partly in Inverness shire and partly in Argyllshire: on the south-east by the Parish of Lismore & Appin (Det.): on the south by Loch Dunart an arm of the sea which extends inland for a distance of about 24 miles and divides Ardnamurchan from the Parish of Morven. The Parish of Ardnamurchan is situated in the counties of Inverness and Argyll. The portion in the Co. [County] Argyll lies on the south of the parish and on the extreme south is situated |
