104 A small enclosure in Reilig Oran, containing nineteen sculptured stones under which are said to rest, the ashes of Scottish Kings and princes "None of the entire collection exhibit certain or intrinsic evidence of high antiquity. Some with Runic Sculptures may be as old as the 9th century - the date of the commencement of the Danish invasion -" Extract from Imperial Gazetteer of Scotland.
In a similar enclosure adjacent to this, and containing the same number of Sculptured tombstones lie the remains of the chiefs of the McLean's, McQuarie's and McKinnon's.
