104 A small side post office for receiving the letters of the district when the postman from Bunessan arrives at Fionphort to take the ferry for Iona, or to meet the man who brings the Iona letters across. Letters arrive and leave every Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday. It is neither a Money Order nor telegraph office.

104; 116 That portion of the sea separating the Island of Iona from the islands of Mull and Erraid. It is about four miles in length, strectches from northeast to southwest and is about 3/4 of a mile in average breadth. There are several islands in it, the principal of which are Eilean nam Ban and Eilean nam Muic. There is also a regular ferry across from Fionphort to Iona.
