Part of the designation following the signature cannot be made out. It is definitely not "Lieutenant" which might normally be associated with "2nd" and looks rather more like "Corpl" which would generally be an abbreviation for "Corporal" but makes no sense when taken with "2nd".Transcribers who have contributed to this page.
