About fifty yards above the circle, there were found two stone ladles, lying not far from each other", vide. statistical account. 1843. Page 449. The two large stone now standing is believed to be part of the circle and stands about six feet high, above the surface and nearly three feet broad and about two feet thick. and which is Said to have been a Druidical Temple. |
