It consisted of rough flags or unhewn blocks of stone forming the sides, ends. and top and bottom. and measured about 4 feet 6 inches long. by 2 feet broad. and about 20 inches deep. and was about 12 inches from the surface Some ashes. or black mould was found in it. but no bones or urns. |
