Description of Site of Standing Stones Continued - was a round circular shield, such as was worn by the Scotch Soldiers formerly in defending themselves from Sword thrusts etc. the dimensions of the Sculpture Stone are 3 feet in length, 2 in breadth and 1 foot in thickness and the other measures two and a half feet in length by one foot eight inches in breadth.
