044 A small artificial mound, in form resembling the Bass of Inverurie, situated in the village of Auchleven. There is no authentic information to be had in connection with this mound. Tradition says it originally was a signal tower between the Castle of Licklyhead and the Castle of Leslie, it is now cultivated.
