tion. I do not know anything of Mr.
Thomson of Leochel Cushnie.
But besides the above au-
thorities you will find, if you refer to
the Statistical Account of the Parish
of Towie, which touches I think the
hill or at any rate the hill range
in question, that the hill is there called
"Soccoch". And not only so but in
the Statistical Account of the Parish
of Leochel Cushnie, which certainly
touches the hill in question it is also
called "Soccoch". Both these accounts
