054 The exact site of this castle is not Known, but it is thought to have stood on the Bass. The field in which the Bass stands is called Castle Yards still, and gives grounds for this supposition.

054 A small wooded hill, situated close to the Bass. Tradition says the little Bass was used for burning the criminals on in olden times. I can't get any information connected with the Little Bass on which one could rely. However, the name is well known
