085 A deep hole in the River Dee where many fugitives of the Clan Keith from the adjoining Battle field found a last home.
KEITHS' STONE 085 In a battle fought between the Keiths, hereditary great Marischals of Scotland, and the Irvines of Drum, on Keiths' Muir, on the north bank of the Dee. In that battle the Irvines were victorious, and drove their enemies across the river, at a deep and rocky part of its channel, which still bears the appellation of the Keiths' Pot; and a rock, which occasionally appears a few inches above the water, on which, as is said, one of the fugitives took refuge and was killed, retains the name of the Keiths' Stone.

085 A handsome two arched iron girdered bridge erected by the Deeside Railway who are empowered by Act of Parliament to levy pontage from the Public who crosses it. viz one halfpenny for a foot passenger and two pence for a horse and cart.
TOLL HOUSE [Park Bridge] 085 The Toll House at which the above pontage is collected, is one storey high, slated, and in good repair, and situated on a public road five chains west of the above Suspension Bridge both of which are the property of the Deeside Railway Company.
