The Laird of Bangour (West Lothian) was a Heritor of Bothkennar parish in that period.John Cowie feued the east Mains of Bothkennar prior to John Hardy.
St Martins: Mr James Dallas, eldest lawful son of Mr George Dallas of St. Martin's, Ross-shire, owned North Newton at this time and the name was transferred from the parental estate.
Pumphlebridge is an earlier form of the place known today as Pinfoldbridge.
