Page 60At Kirkcudbright the eighteenth day of November in the Year One Thousand Eight Hundred and Three
What is written upon the fifty nine preceeding pages is an authentic duplicate of the Valuation Roll of the Stewartry of Kirkcudbright as the same, stood upon the first day of May last and by which the Land Tax is collected the amount of the Total Valuation of the Stewartry being One Hundred and Fourteen Thousand Five Hundred and Ninety seven Pounds two shillings and three pence Scots. Certified by Sir Alexander Gordon of Culvennan Knight Stewart Depute; James Dalyell Esquire of Barncrosh Convenor and William Ireland Esquire of Barbey Provost of Kirkcudbright; three of the Commissioners of Supply of the said Stewartry, and by James Niven Clerk to the said Commmissioners before these witnesses John Thomson and David McLellan Esquires Notaries Public both residing in Kirkcudbright; and the same is Reported to the Right Honourable The Barons of His majesty's Court of Exchequer in terms of the Order of their Lordships bearing date the twenty fourth day of June in the Year One Thousand Eight Hundred and Two.
