I Patrick McDonald Surveyor aforesaid do hereby Certify that upon Careful Examination
the forgoing several Rates and Duties I find they amount in whole to Three Pounds Sterling
and That I Delivered to David Flinlock Collector of said Duties in the Town of Nairn upon the
9 Day of December 1786 an Exact Duplicate of the above account duly Examined and Com
pared which contained my Oath that Notices left with the whole Inhabitants or at
dwelling House of the Dates foresaid In order they might make a Report of the
Greatest Number of Female Servants Employed by them for the period therein menti
oned which they Did in Substance as above [Signed] Patrick McDonald Surveyor
