I Henry Watson Surveyor Aforsaid do hereby Certify That upon careful Examination
the forgoing several Rates and Duty's. I find They amount to the Sum of Eight Pounds
seven Shillings and sixpence Sterling And that upon the [blank] I delivered
John Carfrae Collector of the said Duty's for the Royalty of Haddington an exact
duplicate of the forgoing And duely examined and Compared with the forgoing,
which Contained my Oath That Requisitions were sent to the several forgoing
Inhabitants, and that They are charged the Sums sett against their Respective
Names According to their Answers made me to said Requisitions
