I David Mcmillan Surveyor aforesaid do hereby certify that upon
careful examination of the foregoing Rates and Duties I find they amount
to Two Hundred and Thirty one pounds Sterling and that upon the
-- day of --- one thousand Seven hundred and ninety four years
I delivered to Alexander Gordon Esqr. of Campbellton Collector of the said Duties
for the Stewartry of Kirkcudbright an exact duplicate of the
foregoing which contained my oath that Requisitions or notices were
delivered or left with the several foregoing Inhabitants of the dates annexed
to their names and the Charge made out according to their returns or the
