This concludes my inspection of the
Antiquities of Sutherland. The work
has been very arduous by reason of
the extent of ground to be traversed
and the large number of hitherto un:
:recorded Monuments to be noted and
described, but on the latter account the
interest has been all the greater.
The weather has been exceptionally bad
except in September.
