032 A large hill, the base of which is oval. it Slopes gradually on the North & South East Sides. it is in a good State of Cultivation. it is chiefly arable land, is let to Several tenants, on it is Trigonometrical Station, Called by Trig [Trigonometrical] party Drumore Hill, And the property of the Earl of Stair. In a field at the west side of this hill stone graves have been met with and it is said that an old KirK an Burying ground Stood in former years tho [though] no trace can be seen of it now on the ground. this field has been under cultivation during the memory of the oldest inhabitants. it is about 5½ Chains North of Stone Ford

036 This glen takes its name in Consequence of it being in a Sheltered possision, two Cot hosses is Situated in Said. on the west Side. it is sheltered by the hill of Kildonan and on the East side by the Court hill. it is on the farm of High Drumore, and the property of the Earl of Stair.
