034 | [Situation] At the north end of the village of Isle of Whithorn. This name applies to a Small Square building three stories high Said to be of great antiquity. A Stone in the building bears date 1674 supposed to be the time when the Castle was rebuilt. It presents a castilated appearance having a round tower in the N [North corner] a dwelling house is now attached to the Castle. |
