Occupied by Edward Kerr. The property of Colonel McDowall of Logan. Near to the south side of the farm house is a small field called Kirkfay. Tradition of the country people says that in this field there had been a church or graveyard probably both, the farmer when plowing turned up several graves with human bones & close the the side of a stream on the edge of the bank there is to be seen a grave with two thin flag stones set on edge & overlaid with a flat stone on top. |
