025 [Situation] 1 1/2 mile E by S [East by South] of White Dyck.
A considerable hill on the farm of Airlies the surface of which is partly arable and partly Rough heathy pasture land. John Heron says that on the East side of this hill Stood houses formerly but now the Traces of which is invisible. They were also known by the name of Tintock but whether they took the name from the hill or the hill from the houses it is not Known by any [other] locally. On its summit is a Trigl ◬ [Trigonometrical Station] called by Trigl. [Trigonometrical] Party "Hentick."
