It was formerly [a] farm house with a considerable [portion] of land attached, but now [belongs] to the lands of Kirklauchlin. It is situate near the sea Shore on a rising eminence & [Commands] a good view of the Sea & [surrounding] country. Near to the [South] of it is a Trigl. [Trigonometrical] Station called by Trigl. [Trigonometrical] Party "Blue Bonnets".
