[original] [have] but in several parts broken [&] falling into decay . It was [first] built by a family of the name of Agnew who was then [Proprietor] of some of the adjoining Lands . It now belongs to sir A. Agnew of Lochnaw & has been the [home] of his Ancestors since about [the] year 1316 or 1318. The Summit [of] the Southern Gable is a Trig. [Trigonometrical] Point named [by] Party "Galnough Moor- Old Castle" |
