006 [Situation] ¼ Mile South of Craigoch Burn
A small cairn at the base of Murdonochee, and about ½ Mile South of the junction of Craigach Burn and the Cross Water of Luce, it is composed of small stones and is supposed to be a Sepulchral Monument. 'The Cairns of this Parish are commonly called the "Auld Grey Cairns." Stat. Acct. [Statistical Account] 1841

A small stream which forms a portion of the boundary between the Parish of New Luce and County of Ayr. It is at the foot of Murdonochie hill and falls into the Cross Water of Luce.
