005 A Small Stream averaging about 20 LinKs Wide, and formed mostly of Surface water Collecting on the Moor part of the farm of Meickle Leight Near its Source it is joined by Lanedripple Burn which gives it a large Supply of Water- it passes under Burnfoot Bridge and flows into Loch Ryan about 3/4 ths. of a mile North of Cairn Ryan village The Bed of this Burn is RocKy And these RocKs are of that Soft Blue Slate. description mentioned in the description of Cairn Ryan Hill, the Ground on either Side for the most part is very steep. and thickly covered With Wood - and underwood
