005 A Small Hill on the Farm of Little Leight, it lies in the direction North and South, and is very Steep on the west Side, The Soil is Rocky & rough Pasture it is Situated on the East Side of the line of road from Stranraer to Ballantrae and is distant about 7 1/2 Miles from the former, On the Summit is a Trig [Trigonometrical] Station Called by The Trig [Trigonometrical] Party Little Leith Probably after the name of the Farm which is Spelled Little Leight .
