[South] of Blackridge Village which it passes on the South through low marshy ground. the stream being here sluggish and black - It passes the Edinburgh & Glasgow Road a short distance S.W.[South West] of [Situation] Standhill farm House from Which place the Channel is almost blocKed up with large boulders - it varies in breadth from 10 to 50 linKs, and joins the Logie & Couston Water ½ a Mile N.E.[North East] of Bridge House |
