[Situtation] A few chains north of Lin-Mill Bridge A very fine waterfall, natural formation in Linmill Burn, which is a continuation of Barbachlaw Burn, and this Stream, dividing the Counties of Stirling and Linlithgow takes its name from Lin Mill situated close to the Fall in the former County. The Stream from Linmill Bridge is thickly studded with rocks and boulders and the cataract may be said to be two distinct falls, the first is a gradual slope of jutting rocks & boulders until the commencement of the principal fall which falls sheer down apparantly about 50 feet, it is slightly curved outward between bank & bank and is one complete mass of huge projecting rocks and boulders and terminates abruptly with a clear line of |
