[Situation] At the western Side of Torphichen parish. This is a continuation of Drumtassie Burn which divides the Counties of StirLing & Linlithgow. It takes the name of Linmill Burn after it passes Drumtassie Bridge, and retains the name until it joins the Aron Water about ½ a mile N. E. [North East] of Linmill Fall. |

The name, "Lin Mill," applies to a Flour Mill in the adjoining county and therefore ought to be written in the same form, viz. two words in the name of the burn and in the names of other minor objects in liKe names, as usual in Such cases.
