005 [Situation] About 10 Chains N. [North of Park.
An excellent Well of Springwater On the farm of Park And On the West side of the Road leading from Kingsfield farmhouse to ParK farmhouse. The Only tradition Known about this Well is, that when when the Domestics or Servants belonging to the King, while residing in Kingsfield used to carry Water from this well, And from that time to this the persons residing in Kingsfield have a right to go And Carry Water from it. The reason why it is called MonKland well is not Known unless that the land Around it belonged at one time to Some order of Monks. The field it is situated in is Called "The MonKland"
