A large pillar of stone - square, about 2 feet high. It is what is termed selfacting pump; and is situated in High Street. It owes its name to the circumstance of being the latest erected in the town.

A small lane extending from High Street - at the Lion Well - to Lovers Loan. There are houses one and two, stories high on the east side, and none on on the west. It is well lighted with gas, and has a good supply of water.
